ELSIS Halloween Party at Pyrmont Bridge Hotel

On Thursday, 28th October the teachers Elika and Michaela dressed up as Pyjama Angels. This was inspired by the participation of both teachers as volunteers in the Pyjama Foundation Organisation. This is a mentoring program for children in foster care, providing them with social and psychological support.

Friday Activity – Picnic at the Royal Botanical Gardens

On 11th November, students enjoyed an outing to the Royal Botanical Gardens where they got to relax and enjoy the beautiful Sydney sunshine.  They were able to share some food and chat about their lives, and so practice their English in a fun, relaxed environment. They greatly enjoyed themselves while seeing a special part of the city.

Friday Activity – Sculptures by the sea 2016 – Sydney

Our students had a great time on our excursion to the Sculptures by the Sea, where we held the end of test week celebration. This is the world’s largest annual free-to-the-public outdoor sculpture exhibition. Every year the spectacular Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach coastal walk is transformed into a 2 km long temporary sculpture park featuring over 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world.
